The City has so much to offer. Everybody knows about the Strip, whether they have been to Vegas or not. But is there anything else besides big hotels, casinos, and outrageously expensive concerts?

There is a whole lot more for you.

Museums to cars, pinballs, modern art, history, and atomic bombs. There are incredible natural beauty and amazing man-made structures within an hour’s drive.

And there is quirkiness. What would Las Vegas be without some whimsy?

Neon museums, gondolas in the lobby, a shopping center using storage containers as buildings, and more.

You need to see Las Vegas.

See the Las Vegas‘ Strip

Night is certainly the best time to see Las Vegas lights.
Another night begins on the glittery Strip.

 

Sometimes you have to walk to far to the station, maybe it is easier just to walk where you are going.

Numerous trains connect the hotels along the Strip. Your feet will demand these by the second day.

 

Experience is probably a better term. It is a multi-sensory event.
The theme resorts are something you should see.

 

Impressive in the day, they come alive at night.
One of the last free attractions on the Strip, the Bellagio Fountains.

 

It takes on a whole new persona when the sun goes down and the lights come on.
The Strip at night sparkles.

 

The Wynn and Encore tower where the Desert Inn used to sprawl.Today’s golf resorts look nothing like the old ones.

 

cheap to outrageous, quick bite to culinary experience, you will find it all.The food choices along the Strip are endless.

 

Pyrotechnics replace the lavish sets and costumes.See a show, even though the casts of hundreds are gone.

 

As you can see, Las Vegas has a lot going on along the Strip. But that’s not all there is.

See Las Vegas’ Downtown

Mod stores and cafes are populating this area that had seen better days.
East Freemont is its own experience.

The Ethel M chocolate factory is right next to the cactus garden.Dont just See Las Vegas, taste it. Wait until you smell the chocolate.

Outside the City

Hike, bike, picnic, or just sit and enjoy.

The Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is just west of the city.

 

When you need some down time from Seeing Las Vegas, get away to the valley.
The Valley of Fire is a different world. A great escape.

 

You can easily spend 2-3 hours at the damn before taking an optional tour.
Have a dam day. Include Boulder City to make it a full day.

 

The trip each way is over four hours, and there are a few places to see along the way.
The Grand Canyon is an overnight trip from Las Vegas.
